American alternative rock band Citizen headline SWG3 TV Studio, supported by Modern Color and Thistle.
Citizen play SWG3 TV Studio on Tuesday 27 October, part of their world tour. The American alternative rock band are from Toledo, Ohio, and they'll be supported by Modern Color and Thistle.
They're seventeen years into their career now, and they still describe themselves as underdogs. That's a fair way to put it, given how much they've changed over the years. They've built a reputation for not making the same record twice, and that's exactly what they're doing here. The live show is known for swinging between quiet ballads and distorted anthems, and the set will draw from both ends of that spectrum.
There's plenty of new material to work with. They've just put out their fifth record, Calling The Dogs, and they've got Halcyon Blues coming up after that. Between the two, they're continuing to push into new creative territory, so the night will lean as much on what's next as on what's already out. If you've followed them for a while, you'll recognise the shift from the early days to where they are now.
