The Springsteen Sessions, a top Boss tribute band, return for a special festive show at The Ferry.
The Springsteen Sessions are back at The Ferry on Sunday 27 December, a few days after Christmas and well before the New Year. They're a Boss tribute band, and this one's a festive show, so it's as much a party as it is a gig.
The set draws from more than five decades of Bruce Springsteen's songbook, and they're not sticking to the radio hits. You'll hear Born To Run, 10th Avenue Freeze Out, Jungleland and Rosalita — songs that go deep into the E Street Band sound. The band themselves are billed as 'probably the finest Boss tribute band in the land', and they're a unit of accomplished musicians who set out to recreate that big, live E Street sound rather than just run through the melodies.
The Ferry is on the banks of the River Clyde, at 25 Anderston Quay in Glasgow city centre. It's a party room that works as a live music venue, and the format is a bit different from your usual night out: you can have a three-course meal alongside the entertainment, whether it's an original artist or a tribute act. So you can make a proper evening of it, dinner and all, rather than just popping in for the music.

The show starts at 8.30pm on Sunday 27 December, so it's a late one for a Sunday, but it sits right in that gap between the two big holidays when there's not much else going on. If you're after a night of Springsteen classics in the city centre, that's your spot.
