A West End musical show celebrating the magic and glamour of London's West End at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, with four soloists backed by the Scottish Festival Orchestra and City of Glasgow Chorus.
Christmas At The Musicals returns to The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Sunday 13 December 2026, with two performances on the one day: a matinee at 2pm and an evening show at 6pm. It's a West End revue that pulls together some of the most recognisable tunes from London's West End and Broadway, with a Christmas twist added to the mix.
Four West End soloists take the lead: Chumisa Dornford-May, known from Into the Woods; Emma Hatton, from Wicked; Rob Houchen, from Les Misérables; and Scott Davies, from The Phantom of the Opera. They're backed by the Scottish Festival Orchestra and the City of Glasgow Chorus, with Stuart Morley conducting and compèring the show. It's a big sound for a concert hall — a full symphony orchestra and a chorus rather than a small band.
The format is a concert, so you'll get the songs without the full stage production around them. Past editions have gone down well: The Independent called it 'a wonderful evening' and ReviewsHub described it as 'a triumphant evening', with audiences saying they could have listened until dawn. The 2025 concerts were a success, and it's back in Glasgow for the festive season.
