A candlelight concert bringing the music of ABBA to the historic Merchants House of Glasgow.
Candlelight: Tribute to ABBA comes to The Merchants House of Glasgow on Thursday 10 December, with the music of ABBA taking centre stage. It's part of the Candlelight series, which brings live music to locations across the city performed under the glow of candlelight, and this particular show is one of several dates they're running at the venue between June 2026 and February 2027.
The venue itself is The Merchants House of Glasgow, at the corner of George Square and West George Street. It's the old Merchant Guild, once the hub of the city's mercantile community, and remains one of Glasgow's oldest and most prestigious organisations. Beyond its role as a meeting place, it's a substantial charity that provides benevolence, grants to educational institutions, and bursaries.

As for the night, the focus is on ABBA, with the music played live in that candlelit setting. It's one of several Candlelight dates scheduled here over the course of the season, so if you're around the city centre that winter, there are a few different slots to choose from. The show starts at 8:30pm, and tickets are £24.00.
