A pub quiz with banter and prizes held at Maggie's Rock 'N' Rodeo, a country-themed bar in Glasgow City Centre.
The Big Ol' Pub Quiz is taking over Maggie's Rock 'N' Rodeo every Wednesday night this October, with dates on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. It's run by itison Events, and the whole thing kicks off at 7pm, running through until 10pm.
If you've never been, Maggie's is a country-themed bar in Glasgow City Centre at 60 Trongate, and it doesn't do things by halves. It's built around live music, line dancing, bull riding and American smokehouse BBQ, and it stays open seven days a week until 3am. The quiz fits right into that: it's built on banter, brain-teasers and a fair few country curveballs, played out in a saloon-style atmosphere. You'll want to bring a team, because the prizes are a good mix — a rollover cash jackpot, a £50 bar tab, merch, event tickets and wild mystery prizes.
