Alt-rock band Basement return to the Barrowland as part of their WIRED tour, with special guests Fleshwater and Béton Armé.
Basement are back at The Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on Tuesday 16 February, as part of their WIRED tour. They're bringing along Fleshwater and Béton Armé on support, so it's a full bill rather than just the headliners.
Basement are British alternative rock mainstays fronted by Andrew Fisher, who formed the band in Ipswich before they spent time in the US. Their 2019 album Beside Myself was their first new record in more than eight years, and it followed their debut I Wish I Could Stay Here and 2012's Colourmeinkindness, which NME gave four stars. For a long time, Fisher admitted to being "really scared" to label their music "rock" â a tag he's now come to accept.

They returned in May with WIRED via Run For Cover Records, their first new album in over eight years and their highest-charting to date. It landed at #16 in the Official Albums Chart and took their first #1 in the Rock & Metal Albums Chart. This tour follows a run of intimate UK rooms and a full European leg that culminated in a headline set at Manchester's Outbreak festival, and it includes the band's biggest London headline show to date at The Roundhouse. The Glasgow date falls on Tuesday 16 February 2027, with Fleshwater and Béton Armé opening the night.
