Informal workshop with soft-seated play, gallery walk and creative activity for parents, carers and babies aged 0-2 years.
Art For Baby is back at The Burrell Collection on Thursday 29 October, part of a monthly series that runs from July through November. It's an informal workshop for parents, carers and babies, and the next session is on the last Thursday of the month, starting at 11:00am.
The morning is split into three parts. There's soft-seated play for the little ones to move around in, a walk through one or two of the galleries, and a simple creative activity. It's aimed at families with children aged 0-2, so it's designed for the under-twos and the adults who look after them. The whole thing is described as a space for rest and wellbeing in the museum, which is a nice way of putting it: a chance to be in the galleries with a baby without having to worry about them being too loud or too active.
If you've never been, the collection is in Pollok Country Park, at 2060 Pollokshaws Road, G43 1AT. It's a good spot for a morning out, especially since the session is on a weekday morning. The workshop runs monthly on the last Thursday of the month, from Thursday 30 July through to Thursday 26 November, so if you can't make the October one, there's another in November.

It's free, but you do need a ticket, which you book through Eventbrite. Spaces are limited, so it's worth getting yours in early rather than leaving it until the day. The session starts at 11:00am at The Burrell Collection in Pollok Country Park.
