Stand-up comedy show by Adam Rowe, host of the Have A Word podcast, at King's Theatre.
Adam Rowe brings his new show Fashionism! to King's Theatre on Sunday 1 November, part of a twelve-date tour. It's an hour of stand-up built around a single idea: trying to see and understand everyone's point of view, including the people he despises. That's the whole premise the set works from, so the night is as much about where he lands as it is about how he gets there.
Rowe is a Scouser and a Chortle Award winner who's also appeared on Live At The Apollo. He's probably best known as the host of the Have A Word podcast, which has become a regular fixture on the podcast circuit. He's also a frequent face on BBC Radio, so if you've spent any time listening to comedy on the airwaves lately, you've likely come across him.
One of the things that put him on the map was winning the Edinburgh Festival's Funniest Joke At The Fringe in 2018, and he's built on that since. Fashionism! is the latest result of that work, and the Glasgow date is one of twelve stops on the tour. It's recommended for ages 16 and over, so it's not one for the younger crowd.
