Women-only Samhain gathering with forest bathing, a fire circle, a guided Samhain fire ritual, a women's circle, journaling and herbal tea meditation.
Wild Woman celebrating Samhain is a women-only gathering at Midmar Drive on Sunday 1 November, starting at 10:30. It's led by Diana, a Forest School and Art Educator, certified Forest Bathing Guide and founder of Creative Roots in Nature, and it's built around honouring the turning of the wheel and the transition into the darker half of the year.
The day moves through several distinct stages. It opens with forest bathing, followed by a community fire circle and a guided Samhain fire ritual. From there it shifts into a women's circle, journaling, and a sensory herbal tea meditation. Diana keeps the numbers small—limited to 12 women—to create a safe, sacred space for deep connection.

You'll also need to bring a thermos of tea, a cup, a pen, a journal and some snacks to keep you going. The meeting point is the car park at Duddingston Kirk on Duddingston Road West, across from Holy Rood High School, from where the group heads to Midmar Drive (EH10 6BX). Tickets are ÂŁ16.96 via Eventbrite.
