Late-night Volens Chorus night of house and ghetto tech with DJ Slugo and Lara Sinclair at Sneaky Pete's.
DJ Slugo is playing Sneaky Pete's on Saturday 24 October, with Lara Sinclair on the bill alongside him. The night is put on by Sneaks Events, and the music is dedicated to house and ghetto tech sounds.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, it's worth knowing where Slugo fits in. He's spent thirty years at the forefront of ghetto house and is cited as one of the original fathers of Chicago Ghetto House and Juke. Back in the 1990s, he became one of the first ghetto house artists on Dance Mania Records, the label that helped define the sound. So, when the night is billed as house and ghetto tech, that's the territory he's been working in since the beginning.

Lara Sinclair joins him on the lineup, and the whole thing is presented by Sneaks Events. It's a late one, running from 23:00 through to 03:00, so you've got four hours of house and ghetto tech to get through. Tickets start from £9.20, and the venue is Sneaky Pete's at 73 Cowgate, EH1 1JW.
