The Vintage and Pre-Loved Indoor Market is taking over Meadowbank Sports Centre on Sunday 6 December, from 7:00 am to 6:15 pm. It's run by Edinburgh Leisure as part of their wider vintage and pre-loved collection, and it's a cosy indoor market built around vintage fashion, sustainable shopping and local independent businesses.
It works as a trading opportunity as much as a shopping day. Experienced traders and first-time sellers alike can turn their treasures into cash, dealing in vintage and pre-loved clothes, handmade crafts, jewellery and accessories, antiques and bric-a-brac. You bring your own tables and rails, and you get early access for setting up, a fully accessible venue and support from a dedicated event team, alongside exposure to local shoppers and vintage enthusiasts backed by a dedicated advertising campaign.
On the day, visitors can browse one-of-a-kind statement pieces and handcrafted gifts while picking up specialty coffee, matcha and a selection of food from on-site vendors. It's the kind of thing that works just as well if you're there to sell as if you're there to spend, and with the food and drink on hand, it's easy to make a full day of it.
