Inclusive 5k and 10k road race through the paths of Inverleith Park, with a kids race and a free toddler dash.
Up and Running Events are bringing their Inverleith Park 5k/10k to Inverleith Park on Saturday 31 October, with the main races starting at 10:00. It's a morning for all ages, not just the serious runners, and the park is one of Edinburgh's most scenic green spaces, home to the Royal Botanic Garden and just north of the city centre.
The course follows the park's paths on a road surface, so it's open and fast. It's fully marshalled with clear signage, which makes it as suitable for first-timers as for experienced runners. The whole day is built as a fun, inclusive community event for all ages and abilities, with a great atmosphere and plenty of encouragement from fellow runners and spectators. Every finisher gets a bespoke medal, and the pack includes chip timing, water stations, medical support, music and a goody bag. One verified purchaser gave it five stars, calling it 'well organised' with an 'amazing' medal.

There are a few ways to get involved, so you can pick the distance that works for you. The 10k is £24.00, the 5k is £20.00, and there's a Kids Race for £10.00. For the very youngest, there's a free Toddler Dash, so it's something the whole family can do together. The races start at 10:00 at Inverleith Park, 20 East Fettes Avenue, Edinburgh, EH4 1RU.
