A night of Scottish Highland music and traditional country dancing led by Charlie Kirkpatrick and his band, with registration required.
The White Heather Club are back at Bonnie & Wild on Thursday 29 October, another ceilidh in their monthly series at the St James Quarter. It's led by Charlie Kirkpatrick and his band, who call out the steps to traditional Scottish Country dances as they go, so you can follow along even if you've never danced a day in your life. They'll be running through the usuals: the Dashing White Sergeant, Strip the Willow, the Gay Gordons, the St Bernard's Waltz and the Canadian Barn Dance.
Before the dancing kicks off, there's time to wander through the venue's Scottish Marketplace, which houses a dozen kitchens and bars. It's a good spot to grab a drink and a bite before you commit to the dance floor. The club also encourages people to tag @thewhiteheatherclub on Instagram if you're taking photos of the night.
