Weekly mixed-bill stand-up night with five acts at The Stand Comedy Club, with street food from KHAO BOI Thai on selected shows.
The Saturday Show is back at The Stand Comedy Club on Saturday 24 October, and it's a regular fixture of the club's weekend. It's a mixed-bill night with five acts on the bill, which is the same format they run every Saturday at the York Place venue in the heart of Edinburgh New Town.
The Stand programmes live stand-up seven days a week, and the Saturday night is one of their mainstays. They pull from touring headliners and established favourites, and the mixed bills sit alongside their legendary Red Raw new-comedy night, which is where they give a platform to the stars of tomorrow. Between the two, you'll find some of the best-known acts on the circuit sharing the stage with newcomers.
On the Saturday night, food is back on selected shows, served by KHAO BOI Thai in the style of Southeast Asian street food, so it's one of those nights where you can eat and watch in the same room. The room is strictly for ages 18 and over.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Edinburgh and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Doors open at 19:00 and the show runs from 20:00 to 22:15, so it's a good two hours and fifteen minutes of comedy. If you can't make the 24th, there are further dates on 31 October, and then 7, 14, 21, and 28 November, followed by 5 and 12 December, so it's an easy one to slot into a weekend when you're in town. You'll find The Stand at 5 York Place, Edinburgh New Town EH1 3EB.
