Ellie Velvet is hosting a tarot reading evening at 1802 Lounge & Grill on Thursday 5 November, starting at 18:00. It's not a typical 'predicting the future' kind of night; Velvet frames tarot less as a way to see what's coming and more as a reason to slow down, be present and reflect on where you are on life's journey. She describes her approach as inclusive and welcoming to people of all faiths, beliefs and cultures, and the whole session is built around taking a moment to pause and see what the cards might have to say.
Each guest gets a ten-minute reading, a welcome cocktail and an oracle card to take home. If you decide to stay on for dinner or drinks at 1802, you'll get 20% off your bill. It's a relatively short window for the reading itself, but the cocktail and the card to keep make it more of a complete evening than just a quick turn at the table.

Because the readings are one-to-one, you'll need to pick a specific time slot when you book, so you're not hanging around all night waiting your turn. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite, and prices start from £30, going up to £60 depending on what you go for.
