Stand-up show by BBC Radio Scotland's 'Time Travels' presenter Susan Morrison, a seated tour of Scotland's scandalous history, over 18s.
Susan Morrison brings Susan Morrison is Historically Funny to The Stand Comedy Club on Sunday 25 October, with doors opening at 16:30 and the show running from 17:00 to 18:00. It's an hour-long set that pulls from her day job: she hosts Time Travels on BBC Radio Scotland, and the show leans right into that. She describes it as a sit-down, no-walking tour of some of Scotland's seediest, skankiest and most scandalous history, pitched as a cosy, seated alternative to the city's walking tours when the weather turns.
If you've spent any time on the radio, you'll know the Time Travels connection. The show takes that historical curiosity and puts it on a comedy stage, trading the walking tour for a seat and a drink. It's the sort of thing that works well as a Sunday afternoon outing — an hour of Scotland's darker, weirder corners told from a chair rather than out in the rain. The Stand is at 5 York Place in Edinburgh New Town, so it's easy enough to get to and stay inside for the duration.

One thing to keep in mind: all performances are strictly over 18s, so it's an adults-only crowd. If you can't make the Sunday date, there are further shows on 29 November and 20 December, so you've got a couple more chances to catch it later in the year. Doors open at 16:30, the show runs from 17:00 to 18:00, and it's an hour long.
