St Andrew's Day celebration with live Scottish traditional music from MĂ nran and ceilidh dancing from Callanish across two floors of the Port of Leith Distillery.
MĂ nran are playing the Port of Leith Distillery Bar on Sunday 29 November, as part of a St Andrew's Day celebration that takes over two floors of the distillery. The night is called St Andrew's Stomp!, and it's organised by the distillery itself. It runs from 7:30 pm to 11 pm, with live Scottish traditional music and ceilidh dancing going on across both levels.
MĂ nran take the top-floor Distillery Bar. They've spent more than 15 years at the forefront of Scottish traditional music, building a reputation as one of the genre's most exciting and influential bands, and they've played in more than 30 countries. Down on the Quality Control floor, Callanish return to the distillery for a ceilidh that runs from start to finish, so you can move between the two floors throughout the evening.
The venue is the Port of Leith Distillery, billed as the world's tallest whisky distillery, and the night marks St Andrew's Day with traditional music and ceilidh dancing as the main draw. The whole thing is for ages 18 and over.
