Spanish-inspired wine and tapas tasting with seven pairings from The Local Wine School at the Novotel Edinburgh Centre.
The Local Wine School is hosting a Spanish tapas and wine pairing at Novotel Edinburgh Centre on Friday 23 October, from 7:00pm. It's a two-hour session that frames the tasting as a Spanish-inspired fiesta dedicated to some of the best wines of the Iberian peninsula, with each bottle paired with a top-quality example of a local delicacy. There are seven combinations on the menu: Manchego with Rioja Gran Reserva, garlic prawns with Rueda, and tortilla with sparkling wine are among them.
The evening is run by The Local Wine School, part of the Local Wine School Network, which describes itself as the world's fastest-growing network of independent wine schools teaching fun, accessible courses at all levels alongside professional qualifications for anyone starting or developing a wine career. They've been featured in The Daily Telegraph and Time Out Magazine.
