Free concert marking ten years of The Soundhouse Choir, the a cappella group founded by Heather Macleod.
The Soundhouse Choir are performing at the Traverse Theatre on Thursday 26 November, a concert that marks ten years since the choir was founded and ten years of its partnership with the Soundhouse Organisation.
Local singing legend Heather Macleod started the choir back in 2016, and it's built its following on joyful vocal arrangements that range across genres. It's grown in numbers every year, weathering the ups and downs of life and a pandemic, with many members finding new friends and confidence along the way. Macleod describes it as an 'incredible and ever-changing... living organism that moves and breathes with life itself, simply because we sing together'.

The performance runs for around half an hour, so it's a relatively short one. It's held in the Traverse Bar, within the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh, rather than the main stage. Doors open at 6:30pm and the music starts at 7:00pm. Entry is free, though it's ticketed, so you'll want to book your spot in advance.
