Over-18s Halloween party with So Fetch playing 2000s pop hits, with Mean Girls-inspired fancy dress encouraged.
So Fetch are back at La Belle Angele on Friday 30 October, returning to the Old Town for a Halloween special. The night is put on by Throwback Events, and as the name suggests, the whole thing is built around the pop hits of the 2000s.
That's the core of it: a set of 2000s pop. The names they're working with cover a fair bit of ground from that decade, with Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Rihanna, McFly, Usher, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, Busted, Beyonce and Amy Winehouse all in the mix. It's the kind of line-up that pulls from a few different corners of the era — the big US pop stars, the UK pop-punk of McFly and Busted, and the R&B of Usher and Justin Timberlake — so there's a fair bit to get stuck into across the night.
Because it's a Halloween special, fancy dress is highly encouraged, and they've given it a specific steer: Mean Girls-inspired costumes. If you're not into that, any 2000s look will do, but that's the nod they're going for. It's an over-18s night, so you'll need ID at the door.
