KIKI Halloween party celebrating horror's 'Scream Queens' with resident DJ Miss Mixtape, live act Queen Tina Justina, smoke machines and a best-dressed competition.
Scream Queens takes over Leith Arches on Friday 30 October, from 21:00 to 01:00. It's part of the KIKI Halloween series, and the night is built around the 'Scream Queens' of horror — the blonde bombshells and the badass heroines who survive the slashers. If you've spent any time with the genre, you know the type: the final girls who start the movie as the one no one expects to make it and end up the only one left standing.
On the music side, resident DJ Miss Mixtape holds down the decks, with performances from Queen Tina Justina. The horror theme carries through the room too, with smoke machines running throughout the night. There's a best-dressed competition in the mix, and the prizes are worth putting some effort into: £100 for first place and £50 for second.
