Free conversation with RSA Fellows, educators and policymakers on Scotland's education system as part of the RSA Challenge.
RSA Challenge: Education: An Honest Conversation is coming to the University of Edinburgh on Wednesday 11 November, running from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. It's part of the RSA Challenge, and the session brings together RSA Fellows, educators, policymakers, and anyone else with an interest in Scotland's education system to share perspectives, test ideas, and identify practical next steps. The RSA in Scotland describes its work as fostering action-oriented debate, drawing on its Fellows and the wider education community to consider how best to advance education in Scotland.
This isn't a lecture or a presentation. The 'Honest Conversation' format is built around people from different corners of the sector sitting in the same room and talking through the issues. The goal is to get a range of voices—from those working on the ground in classrooms to those shaping policy—to weigh in on the same questions. The RSA says previous Honest Conversation events have been successful in shaping discussion and turning ideas into practical action, so the aim here is to move beyond just talking and find something concrete to take forward.
