Stand-up show by Robert White, the keyboard comedian from Britain's Got Talent, mixing songs, stories and gags for over-18s.
Robert White is playing The Stand Comedy Club on Sunday 1 November, with the show running from 18:00 to 22:00. He's billed as 'THAT' Gay Autistic Keyboard Tanktop Comedy Guy, and the set lives up to the description: it mixes songs, stories, stand-up, gags, props, improvisation and audience interaction. The keyboard is the centre of it all, and the songs are where he spends a good deal of his time.
White first came to wider attention through a series on Britain's Got Talent and has since built millions of online viewers. The critics have a few ways of describing what he does: Time Out called him a 'very funny, fantastic oddball', The Telegraph described him as a 'hyperactive man-child' among the most original, and others have pointed to his 'souped-up risqué keyboard-based songs, waspish asides and neurotically charged camperie'. Simon Cowell summed him up as 'very unique, very quirky, very funny, very naughty, Robert, which we like'.
