Paint and Sip - Winter in the Alps

Paintvine are bringing their Winter in the Alps session to The Counting House on Wednesday 2 December, from 7pm to 9pm. It's a two-hour slot in the middle of the week, so it works as a mid-week thing rather than a weekend commitment.

The session is led by professional artists and is built to be social, pitched at complete beginners and experienced painters alike. You'll get step-by-step instruction throughout, so you're not just left to figure it out on your own. All the painting materials are provided: acrylic paints, brushes, an apron, and a stretched canvas. You take the finished artwork home with you, and there are photos taken throughout the night to keep. The format makes it a decent shout for a date, a birthday, a celebration, or a team social.

Paintvine run these sessions across the UK, with more than 80,000 guests hosted in over 20 cities, so this isn't a one-off. The Counting House is at 34 West Nicolson Street, Newington, Edinburgh EH8 9DD. Drinks aren't included in the ticket price, but you can buy them from the venue bar, and they advise arriving 15 minutes before the start time. That puts you in your seat by 6:45pm for a 7pm start.
