The Edinburgh Marketing & Advertising Network is back with its monthly meetup on Wednesday 28 October, this time at Levels Cafe & Lounge on Holyrood Road. It's an informal networking group run by the network, aimed at entrepreneurs, directors, managers, business owners and anyone with an interest in innovation and marketing.
The sessions bring together marketers, founders and small business owners to connect and share ideas, with a focus on marketing, innovation and technology. That covers a fair bit of ground: entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, R&D, business strategy, accelerators, incubators and lean startup. The Edinburgh leg follows a set format of open networking, a brief introduction and a Q&A session. It's usually photographed or filmed for promotional and archival purposes, so keep that in mind if you're not keen on being on camera.
The organisers run three similar meetups across the UK — in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Central London — and they're looking for business sponsors. Levels Cafe & Lounge on Holyrood Road is described as a welcoming space that blends community spirit with creativity, and it hosts a variety of workshops, classes and meetups alongside its usual cafe and lounge trade.
