Family-friendly New Year's Eve party at Murrayfield with a festive buffet, a table magician, a live ceilidh band, a traditional bagpiper and an early New Year countdown.
Scottish Gas Murrayfield is hosting a New Year's Eve party on Thursday 31 December, from 6pm to 10pm. It's part of Edinburgh's Hogmanay, which is widely regarded as one of the world's greatest New Year celebrations, and it's billed as a family-friendly way to see out the year before the fireworks start.
The evening is built around a festive buffet, with a table magician working the room and a live ceilidh band and a traditional bagpiper providing the music. The night ends with an early New Year countdown, so you'll have the celebration sorted well before the midnight bells. It's designed for families, so it's a good shout if you've got younger ones with you and want to mark the occasion without staying up until the early hours.
