Matt Bragg brings his stand-up show 'Stand Up Comic' to The Stand Comedy Club, one stop on his 2027 tour.
Matt Bragg brings his new show, Stand Up Comic, to The Stand Comedy Club on Saturday 10 April 2027. It's one stop on a 42-date tour, and the set runs for around 100 minutes.
Bragg has been working the circuit for over a decade, playing to audiences around the world and sharing stages with Ricky Gervais, Matt Rife, Stephen Merchant and Harry Hill. He's coming off a sell-out UK tour and the release of his debut special in 2025, and Stand Up Comic is the next chapter. He describes the show as pairing deadpan delivery with sharply observed, meticulously crafted material — so it's the kind of thing that relies as much on the timing and the silence as it does on the punchlines.
If you're not familiar with his work, that deadpan side is a good place to start. It's a dry, understated approach that lets the writing do the heavy lifting, and given the 100-minute runtime, there's plenty of room for the material to breathe. It's a full-length show rather than a short set, so you'll get a proper look at where he's taking things this time around.

Doors open at 15:00 and the show runs from 16:00 to 17:40, so it's an afternoon session rather than a late one. One thing to keep in mind: The Stand restricts admission to over-18s only, so make sure you've got your ID on you.
