60-minute guided stadium tour in small groups with access to restricted areas of the main stand at Hearts.
Heart of Midlothian are running their Main Stand Tour at Tynecastle Park on Sunday 1 November. It's a 60-minute guided tour in small groups, and the main draw is that it takes you into restricted areas of the main stand that you'd never get to see on a match day.
For context, Hearts is the oldest club in the Scottish capital, dating back to 1874, and the name comes from Walter Scott's novel The Heart of Midlothian. Tynecastle Park has been their home since 1886, and it became an all-seater stadium in 1990. It now holds 19,852 spectators, and the main stand you'll be touring was rebuilt and completed in 2017, so you're seeing the club's most recent addition up close. The tour is led by an experienced private guide, and it sits alongside the club's longer 90-minute Heritage Stadium Tour, so this is the more focused, hour-long version.
