Line dance class for all levels led by head instructor Lynsey, introducing new American line dances step by step.
Line Dance is back at Edinburgh College (Granton Campus) on Thursday 29 October, with the class starting at 18:30. It's run by head instructor and head cowgirl Lynsey, who's recently moved back to the UK after living and dancing across the US. She's bringing the dances straight from the honky tonks and dance halls of America, so it's the real thing rather than a watered-down version.
It's set up to suit all levels, which is the main thing if you've never tried it before. Each session introduces a new dance or two, and they're broken down step by step, with plenty of practice time to get the footwork sorted before you're expected to keep up. You don't need to be a natural on the floor to get stuck in.

As for what to wear, boots or trainers both do the job, so you don't need to go full western if you're not feeling it. Just keep in mind that everyone has to be 18 or over to join in. The class runs at the Granton Campus on West Granton Road, EH5 1QE, and it'll cost you £8 for the session. If you've been wanting to try line dancing without having to fly to Nashville, this is a good place to start.
