Grimsby stand-up Lee Peart brings his debut UK stand-up tour to The Stand Comedy Club, strictly for over-18s.
Lee Peart brings his debut stand-up tour to The Stand Comedy Club on Tuesday 4 May 2027. It's called It's Not You, It's Lee, and the title gives you a fair idea of where he's coming from — he's the one taking the brunt of the jokes here.
For a few years now, Peart has been warming up for some of the biggest TV shows in the country, the kind of work that keeps you busy but usually keeps you in the background. This is the first time he's stepping centre stage and taking the whole thing for himself, with a full tour across the UK. He grew up in Grimsby and co-hosted the podcast Bottoms Up, and the material he's built from there pulls from the usual suspects — family, work, relationships and ambition — but he does it with a particular kind of warmth and a healthy dose of self-deprecation. The Observer described it as a show that "made the room squeal with laughter," which is a good sign for anyone who likes their comedy to actually land.
The Edinburgh date is presented by Mick Perrin Worldwide, who's also acting as the event organiser, in association with Insanity Management. The show runs for about 100 minutes, so it's a proper full-length set rather than a short spot. One thing to keep in mind: it's strictly for over-18s, so don't bring anyone under that age along.
