Irish composer and TikTok star Jamie Duffy brings his blend of folk, popular and classical music to The Pleasance Theatre.
Jamie Duffy plays The Pleasance on Thursday 19 November, part of his 2026 tour across the UK. He's an Irish composer and songwriter who grew up in Glaslough, a small border village, in a very musical family. Now 24, he's emerged as a standout figure on the music scene, blending traditional, popular and classical influences into a sound described as beautiful, evocative and unique, and that has found a following in the folk and dark academia aesthetics.
Much of that following started online. He's gathered more than 115 million views on TikTok, and his debut single Solas is cited as the most-streamed debut song by an Irish artist since Hozier's Take Me To Church, with over 100 million streams on Spotify. The Edinburgh date is one stop on a tour that takes him across the UK throughout the year.
