Ignacio Lopez, billed as 'Spain's Best Export', brings his ambitious comedy show 'Nada' to The Stand Comedy Club, a live creation performed in front of the audience.
Ignacio Lopez brings his show Nada to The Stand Comedy Club on Wednesday 2 December. He's a half-Spanish, half-Welsh stand-up who performs as a sleazy lothario, and Nada is billed as his most ambitious and pretentious project yet. It's a comedy experiment in which he builds a brand new, completely unique show right in front of the audience, drawing on his upbringing in Mallorca and South Wales, suggestions from the crowd, and everything he's learned performing since 2010.
Lopez has become a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, with shows in 2018, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. He's also appeared on UK television, including Live At The Apollo, Have I Got News For You, QI, Richard Osman's House of Games and Comedy Central Live. Beyond the TV work, he's headlined top comedy clubs, cruises, corporate and military shows worldwide, and sold out tour dates across the UK. He's often billed as 'Spain's Best Export'.
Because Nada is built in the room, the night depends as much on the crowd as it does on Lopez himself. The material he pulls from is his own history — those two very different childhoods in Mallorca and South Wales — but the final shape of the show is something he works out on the spot, taking suggestions from the audience and weaving them into the set. It's a bit of a gamble, which is exactly what he's going for.
