Hel Cabaret's Halloween and folklore cabaret night of neo-burlesque, gorelesque, fire and pole acts, strictly over 18s.
Hel Cabaret are back at La Belle Angele on Thursday 29 October with Harvest of Souls, their celebration of Halloween and folklore. It's a double milestone for them: the night marks three years of the company, and it falls just a few days before Halloween itself.
On stage, they're bringing together Neo Burlesque, Gorelesque, fire, pole, and other provocative acts, all held together by a soundtrack of rock, industrial, metal, and alternative music. They describe the night as drenched in the colours of dying leaves, candlelight, fire, and blood, so it's a bit more of a themed affair than a standard cabaret night. It's a seated event, and it's strictly over 18s. There's no dress code, though they do encourage the audience to dress up if they fancy it.
There's a bar available on the night, and a few things to keep in mind before you head in: strobe lights and other effects may be used, and some of the performances may contain nudity. If you're planning on going, it's worth knowing that in advance.
