Seven-month social innovation incubator course at The Melting Pot to turn ideas tackling social or environmental problems into sustainable businesses.
Good Ideas is back at The Melting Pot on Friday 13 November, kicking off a new cohort of their social innovation incubator. It's a seven-month course that runs through to Friday 21 May 2027, with a final showcase on Thursday 3 June 2027. The whole thing is built for people with an idea to tackle a social or environmental problem, and it's designed to carry that idea through the messy journey from initial spark to launch.
Over those seven months, a small cohort gets the knowledge, skills and networks needed to turn an idea into a sustainable, purpose-driven business. It's not a solo slog, either: you're part of a close-knit community of entrepreneurs at similar stages, so you're learning, growing and collaborating alongside people who are in the same boat. All the core sessions are in person at The Melting Pot, and as part of the programme, you can cowork at the centre for free throughout the course.
Good Ideas is the social innovation incubator programme of The Melting Pot, and the subsidy that keeps the cost down is funded by the centre's consultancy profits and a small grant from the GEM Trust. If you want to see where it's led before, alumni can draw inspiration from the centre's ten-year impact report.
