High-energy disco and house night headlined by London collective Horse Meat Disco at Cabaret Voltaire.
Horse Meat Disco are headlining Cabaret Voltaire on Thursday 22 October, part of a GDT night that runs from 11:00 PM. It's a high-energy disco and house bill, and they're the main draw on the night.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, they're a four-strong London DJ collective — Luke Howard, Severino Panzetta, James Hillard and Jim Stanton — who started their disco nights on New Year's Day 2004 at The Eagle in Vauxhall. Their neon horse logo, which they call 'Our Eiffel Tower', became the group's signature. Over two decades they've added residencies in Berlin and New York and turned the NYC Downlow and Glastonbury's 2009 LGBTQ+ space into a global festival draw, which they've dubbed 'gay disco Christmas'. They also released a debut artist album, Love and Dancing, through Glitterbox/Defected, produced by Luke Solomon, whom they call 'the fifth member'.

It's not just the four of them on the bill, either. GDT residents will be playing alongside them, and there's a takeover by HW DJ SOC and NUTS in room 2, so there's a second room to move between if you fancy a change of pace. The whole thing kicks off at 11:00 PM at Cabaret Voltaire, 36 Blair St, with tickets from as low as £3.
