Evening of pranayama breathwork, Yoga Nidra, ecstatic dance, a sound journey and a fire circle with storytelling.
Gathering together comes to The Salisbury Centre on Friday 4 December, an evening of breathwork, dance and connection that runs from 5pm to 9pm. It's put on by Wil and Aleksandra Wruk, and they frame the whole thing against the modern habit of spending our days alone behind screens.
The night follows a specific sequence. It starts with pranayama breathwork and a guided Yoga Nidra meditation, designed to let the nervous system settle. From there it opens up into ecstatic dance and a sound journey, and finally closes outside around a fire circle with storytelling, intentions and time to be with each other. The organisers, Wil and Aleksandra, invite you to bring a short story or poem to share during that final part.
