Dual-language Bookbug session in English and Gaelic for children aged five and under, led by Kirsteen Murray.
Gaelic Bookbug is coming to the National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh on Thursday 12 November, from 10:30am to 11:00am. It's a dual-language session delivered in both English and Gaelic, led by Kirsteen Murray, the Early Years Manager and Development Officer at Comann nam Pàrant. The session is part of the National Library's wider Bookbug programme, which runs every Thursday.
If you're not familiar with Bookbug, it's a relaxed session designed to help parents and carers feel more confident sharing stories, rhymes and songs with their little ones. The Gaelic version does exactly that, but in two languages at once, so you'll hear both English and Gaelic throughout. It's intended for children aged five and under, though older siblings are welcome to join in too. All children need to be accompanied by an adult for the whole session.

It's a short half-hour, so it's easy to fit around a morning out with the kids. If you're interested in the wider Bookbug programme that the National Library runs, they point people towards the Scottish Book Trust website for more information. The session runs from 10:30am to 11:00am on Thursday 12 November at the National Library of Scotland in Edinburgh.
