Friends from Everywhere Halloween

Friends from Everywhere returns to Caru by Candlelight on Thursday 29 October, this time as a Halloween edition. It's the fifth volume in the series presented by HC & Events, and it's pitched as a social evening for anyone looking to meet new people in Edinburgh or just have a good night out. You can turn up with friends or come along on your own, and the organisers describe it as building on the warm, welcoming crowd and good energy of previous editions.

For this one, they're leaning into the date with candles, costumes and a bit of magic. There will be live tarot readings throughout the night, and light nibbles are included in your ticket. A photographer will be on site to capture the evening, and there's a bar available, though drinks aren't included in the ticket price. The room is limited to 25 guests, so it's a small, contained affair rather than a big party.

It's for ages 18 and over. Doors open at 6:30 PM, and the evening runs from 6:30 PM to 11 PM at Caru by Candlelight, East Market Street, Arch 2, Edinburgh EH8 8FS. Tickets are between £15 and £25.
