Over-18s fragrance and wine evening with a Molton Brown masterclass and wine pairings from Wine Events Scotland.
Molton Brown Edinburgh is hosting a fragrance and wine evening on Monday 14 December, from 18:00 to 19:30. The whole thing centres on the Oudh Accord and Gold fragrance, and it flips a classic wine-tasting rule on its head: the one that says you should never wear perfume to a tasting. Here, the fragrance is the starting point, not something to avoid.
The evening opens with a mini Fragrance Masterclass led by Molton Brown's Genna Chu, who'll walk you through the Oudh Accord and Gold scent. After that, Diana Thompson from Wine Events Scotland takes over to present four wines that share similar characteristics with the fragrance, all served alongside a glass of fizz. The idea is to see how the notes in the perfume mirror what you're tasting in the glass, rather than one masking the other.

Thompson describes the session as a fun, surprising sensory evening with plenty of stories to go around, so it's as much about the chatting as the drinking. It's an over-18s event, run in person at the Molton Brown boutique in the St James Centre, Level 3, 27 St James Centre, 333 St James' Place, Edinburgh EH1 3AE. It runs for an hour and a half, from 18:00 to 19:30, on Monday 14 December.
