FLY - Tommy Phillips

Tommy Phillips is at Cabaret Voltaire on Friday 30 October, part of the FLY comedy night. It's a late one, starting at 11pm, with final entry at 1am, so you've got plenty of room to get your evening sorted before heading in.

FLY is the name behind the night, and they've got a broad reach across Scotland's underground dance scene. Alongside their weekly clubs, they run FLY FESTIVAL, FLY WAREHOUSE, and a fair few other dance events. The guest list they've worked with over the years gives you a good sense of the territory they cover: &ME, Chris Stussy, PAWSA, Marlon Hoffstadt, sim0ne, DJ Heartstring, Chloé Caillet, Interplanetary Criminal, Job Jobse, Mr G, Max Dean, EFFY, Josh Baker, Sally C, and KILIMANJARO. This particular night puts the focus on the comedy side of things, with Tommy Phillips taking the stage.

Cabaret Voltaire is on Blair Street in the Old Town, 36-38 Blair Street, EH1 1QR, so it's easy enough to find if you're already in the centre. Tickets start from £29, and since it's an 18+ event, you'll need to bring ID. With the 11pm start and final entry at 1am, it's a late-night slot that fits right into the FLY way of doing things.
