18+ headline night by DJ and producer sim0ne, presented by FLY, at Cabaret Voltaire.
sim0ne plays Cabaret Voltaire on Friday 18 December, her first Edinburgh headline show since moving to London. It's a homecoming of sorts: she was born here, and this date is part of a run of headline shows across Scotland, alongside dates in London and Australia. The night follows her closing set at FLY Festival in Glasgow, and comes alongside her debut EP, zer0.
She describes her sound as a blend of hard house, trance and techno, mixing rave nostalgia with euphoric melodies and high-energy club culture. The influences are right there in the open: Tony De Vit, The Prodigy and the wider UK rave heritage. If you're into that era of dance music, you'll recognise the lineage. The set is her own, and it sits in that same high-energy territory.
The night is presented by FLY, the promoter behind FLY Festival and FLY Warehouse, who run a string of underground dance events across Scotland with a focus on trance and techno sounds. This is one of those nights.

It runs from 23:00 to 03:00, with final entry at 01:00, so you've got a good window if you're coming from elsewhere. Tickets are £20, and the night is strictly 18+.
