Monthly printmaking club for children to explore different printmaking techniques at Edinburgh Printmakers, led by Morven Ferguson.
Family Print Club is back at Edinburgh Printmakers on Sunday 22 November, from 10:15am to 2pm. It's a printmaking club for children to explore different techniques, and it runs once a month as part of the studio's wider infant and children's workshops.
Edinburgh Printmakers is a working studio that runs printmaking courses for all ages, from weekend and evening classes to advanced short courses and specialist summer sessions. Completing most of them gets you three months' free Associate Membership of the studio. Alongside the Family Print Club, they run messy play workshops for under-5s and bespoke group sessions for team-building, birthdays and wellbeing.
The club is led by Morven Ferguson, who graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee with a BA in Fine Art in 2021 and an MFA in 2022. She's been an active member of Edinburgh Printmakers since 2023, drawing inspiration from the Scottish landscape. She started teaching at the studio as a freelance artist in 2023 and now runs the family programme as well as monthly 'Drink & Print' evening workshops and classes at Birchwood Art Studio on Ashley Terrace.
