UK house and club DJ Eliza Rose plays Cabaret Voltaire on Blair Street, headlining the party and house music bill.
Eliza Rose plays Cabaret Voltaire on Saturday 14 November, part of her current tour. It's a house music night, presented by DF Concerts, and the bill is just her.
If you've come across her name but aren't sure where she fits, she's a Hackney-born vocalist, producer and DJ from the UK club underground. She shot to worldwide fame with 'B.O.T.A' (Baddest Of Them All), which made her the first female DJ in 20 years to reach Number One. Since then, she's picked up a MOBO nomination and a Brit nomination, and she's been taking her sound on tour around the world. This Edinburgh date is one of those stops.
What she's bringing to the night is her vinyl selector style and house rhythms, so expect a set built around the records she digs rather than a standard DJ set. It sits right in the party and house music bill, and as the only name on the line-up, she'll be the one holding the whole evening together.
