Stand-up comedy tour of Ed Gamble, co-host of Off Menu, following his sold-out world tour.
Ed Gamble brings his new stand-up show, Fresh Hell, to the Festival Theatre on Sunday 14 February 2027. It's his first Edinburgh date since his last world tour, which took him across Europe, North America and Australasia. He's described himself as the self-appointed Crown Prince of Visualised Companion Podcasts, and that's a fair summary of where he's been lately: co-hosting the award-winning food show Off Menu with James Acaster, and fronting the visualised spin-offs The Traitors: Uncloaked and Taskmaster The Podcast, as well as the new panel show Unacceptable.
Beyond the podcasts, he's a judge on Great British Menu, a Taskmaster champion, and the subject of an Amazon Prime special, Blood Sugar. He's also a regular on Live At The Apollo, QI, Mock The Week and Would I Lie To You?. Fresh Hell follows his biggest ever sold-out world tour, and he quipped that he's delighted to be back grubbing his way up and down the country's theatres and eating peri chicken in the dressing rooms.
Edinburgh is familiar ground for him. He's played the Edinburgh Fringe every year since 2008, with shows like Gambletron 5000, Lawman, Stampede, Mammoth, Blizzard and Electric, and he wrote the book Glutton in 2023. This is a return to the city rather than a first visit.
