Legendary Edinburgh '70s club Disco Inferno returns with a daytime disco of disco, funk, Motown and soul by DJs Love and Nik Silver.
Disco Inferno returns to The Voodoo Rooms on Saturday 30 January 2027 for another daytime disco, following sold-out sessions in July and September. It's a return for one of Edinburgh's legendary '70s clubs, and this time it's an afternoon affair rather than a late-night one.
Behind the decks are DJ Love and Nik Silver, the dynamic duo who've teamed up again to run the session. They describe the afternoon as delirious disco, fired-up funk, magical Motown and sanctified soul — a broad sweep of the dancefloor that covers the disco, funk, Motown and soul that the club has built its name on. The organisers are encouraging people to dress to dazzle and to go back to their roots, so there's a nod here to the kind of dressing-up that often goes with a proper disco night.

It's an over-18s session, running from 3:00pm to 8:30pm, which means you're in and out well before the midnight rush. Tickets are £7.95, which includes the booking fee, and they're available from See Tickets and Tickets Scotland. The Voodoo Rooms is at 19a West Register Street, EH2 2AA.
