Live show by Glasgow singer-songwriter Dan Parks at Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh's Old Town.
Dan Parks plays Sneaky Pete's on Tuesday 20 October, his first Edinburgh date since his last run through the city. He's a Glasgow-based singer-songwriter who's quickly made a name for himself as one of Scotland's most compelling emerging indie artists, and this is a chance to catch him live in the Old Town.
If you're not yet familiar with his work, it's built around reflective lyricism, an expressive vocal delivery and melodies that stick. His songs tend to circle back to the same ground: growing up, relationships and the slow process of figuring out who you are. It's the kind of indie that works just as well when you're listening at home as it does in a room like this, with the lyrics taking centre stage.
Coming from Glasgow, Parks has spent the last few years building his reputation across the Scottish scene, and this show brings that work down to Edinburgh. He's the sole bill for the night, so the set is his to carry from start to finish.
