Dalmore takes over Cask and Vine for a tasting of six whiskies from its Principal Collection, led by guide Matteo, with a welcome Dalmore cocktail.
Dalmore takes over Cask and Vine on Thursday 29 October for a masterclass focused on its Principal Collection. It's a dedicated evening for the distillery, with the tasting led by Matteo, who'll walk guests through six different expressions from the range. The night opens with a welcome Dalmore cocktail to get things moving before the tasting itself gets underway.
Those six drams cover a fair bit of ground across the collection: the 12, 15, and 17-year-olds, the Cigar Malt, the Portwood, and the King Alexander. Having them all in one sitting lets you trace the differences between them rather than just tasting one in isolation. Matteo will be on hand to talk through each one as you go, so it's as much about the stories behind the bottles as it is about the whisky itself.
If you're planning to take something home, there's special pricing on bottles available on the night, so you can pick up a full bottle of whatever stands out most from the tasting. It's a good way to build a small collection of the range without having to guess which one you'll actually enjoy.
