Beginner-friendly hands-on workshop to mix eco-resin colours and cast four unique Christmas decorations.
Polymorphics are running a Christmas decorations casting workshop at We Make Edinburgh on Saturday 21 November, from 11am to 12.30pm. It's a hands-on session where you work with eco-resin to mix your own colours and experiment with festive designs before casting a set of four unique decorations. The whole thing is pitched as a relaxed, creative way to make something to hang on your tree, display at home or give as a thoughtful handmade gift, and it's suitable for beginners, families and craft lovers alike.
Polymorphics is the studio behind the eco-resin classes and craft parties at We Make Edinburgh, which Lucy and Amy have been running since 2019. Lucy is a designer and tutor who specialises in experimenting with materials, and Amy runs The Edinburgh Craft Club, which focuses on independent craft workshops across Scotland. Between them, they've spent years teaching people how to work with the stuff, so you're in safe hands even if you've never touched resin before. The studio also takes private bookings for groups, so if you've got a crowd that wants to do this together, that's an option too.
