Christmas Cocktail Club

The Christmas Cocktail Club runs across George Street from Friday 6 November through to 31 December, seven days a week. It's not a single event at one spot, but a wristband that lets you hop between five of the street's best bars: Tigerlily, Ricks, Indigo Yard, Montpeliers and CoCo. Once you've got the wristband on, you can wander from one to the next, with the festive menu waiting at each.

The drinks are the whole point. The Christmas Cocktail Menu features the Santa Picante, made with Belvedere Vodka, strawberry, habanero and cranberry, and Mrs Claus's Mai Tai. There's Walking in a Whisky Wonderland, which uses Jura 10yo Single Malt, alongside the North Pole Paloma and The Grinch's Garden Spritz. Every one of them comes with a 0% version, so you can stick to the festive theme without the alcohol.

It's built for a few different ways of doing things. You could spend an entire afternoon working your way through the list, or just pop in for one drink here and there over the course of the month. The wristband is valid all day, every day, and it carries through Hogmanay, so it works as much for a New Year's Eve outing as it does for a quiet drink in early December.

Practically, it's a £5 wristband, with the signature holiday cocktails starting from £8. You can pick yours up from any of the participating venues from Monday 2 November by showing your confirmation email at the bar.
