Festive masterclass tasting of six Champagnes, from supermarket own-brand to Vintage and Grower, at the Novotel Edinburgh Centre.
Edinburgh Local Wine School is running a Christmas Champagne Tasting at the Novotel Edinburgh Centre on Friday 11 December, from 7:00pm for two hours. It's one of their masterclasses—one-off sessions that dive into a single region or topic in depth, aimed at anyone after a couple of hours of full immersion and some great wines.
The tasting is pitched as a festive way to explore the ever-changing world of Champagne. They'll be pairing a supermarket own-brand bottle against a big-selling house, and tasting Blancs de Blancs and de Noirs alongside Vintage, Rosé and Grower Champagne, all to prove there's more to life than Moët. Every session includes at least six locally sourced wines, full tasting notes, a tasting sheet and professional tasting glasses.
